i wouldnt purchase for a 4 yr old... its too small. im actually going to return the one i purchased for my 15 month old. it seems like a waste. i would rather purchase the larger regular size power wheel , becuase by the summer time ihe would be able to push the pedal. vs keeping this one and then in the summer he would be ready for a pedal version and then i would need to buy the larger one anyway.. lol

No... I would buy the next one up.  I think a 4 year old would get bored with this.  It only goes 2 mph and forward only.

The battery needs to be charged at least 18 hours before the first use and 14-30 hours after each use. When not in use, batteries should be charged at least once a month for 30 hours.

My 2 year old loves this new power wheeles bike. It is the perfect size for him and it doesn't go too fast. It a good size for indoors and outdoors. I love it. Great birthday gift!

Great Ride On Toy

It comes fully assembled.  You do need to charge the included battery a full 18 hours before using it the first time.  It is low enough to the ground so he can get on and off of it on his own.

I read all the reviews available and considered buying a similar item from a different manufacturer that had more and overall better reviews, but this is the one my 2 year old great nephew saw in the store and loved. He's a little heavier than the average 2 year old so I didn't expect it to ride all that well on anything but a flat concrete surface, especially considering some of the reviews. Boy was I wrong. He took it on the driveway, up hills, in the grass, in the dirt, everywhere and it rode equally well on all surfaces. The speed and power were perfect for him and perfect for all the different terrains. He loves it!

WE ORDERED THIS AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT & THEY LOVED IT!! IT ARRIVED JUST IN TIME, THIS ONE WASN'T ALREADY BUILT LIKE THE OTHER ONE WE GOT BUT WAS EASY TO PUT TOGETHER & ADDING THE STICKERS GREAT FOR TODDLERS! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO OTHERS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A BATTERY OPERATED RIDE FOR THEIR LITTLE ONES :)

Our 2 year old grandson woke up to this Paw Patrol quad from Santa and couldn't be more in love. Everything was Paw Patrol this year, but the quad is what he won't stay away from. Very easy to assemble and drive, although he hadn't quite maneuvered steering yet. The quad is light enough that he can stand up and turn it in the direction he wants to drive until he learns how to turn.

Paw Patrol out of Control!

I bought this for my 17mth old for Christmas. He was excited to see it and could barely contain himself as I quickly assembled it. I let him use it without the battery while it charged for the required 18hrs. He absolutely loved it! The next day, with the battery installed, I saw the excitement turn to fear as he pushed the button and it moved! I'd recommend waiting until at least 2yrs old. My oldest daughter had the same reaction when we got hers for her at 17mths, so perhaps my kids are just noise-sensitive. Either way, if this performs as well as our first one, I'd expect this will last at least 5 years!
