<p>The hilarious Pie Face Showdown game brings friends and family together for lots of laugh-out-loud fun. First, players load the arm with whipped cream (not included) or the included sponge. Then each player places their chin on one of the chin rests and at the count of three, rapidly mashes the button nearest to them, which activates the hand on the throwing arm. The suspense builds as players try to get the arm to move toward their opponent and when it gets too close to the pie thrower, it'll spring up and that player will get creamed! The other one is a single player game and this is for 2 people.

The Pie Face Showdown allows for two people to go against each other to get whip cream thrown in their face. With the regular version only one person can go at a time. Either way, the game was awful! There was no actual game play and the mechanism didn&#39;t work to even get the whip cream actually on to their faces. I would not recommend buying. We returned it the next day.

What&#39;s the difference between this one (Pie Face Showdown)  and the regular?

Are the masks reversible? Meaning, is it always a boy and girl or can it be two boys?  My two grandsons wouldn't be happy having a girl mask lol

The game was excellent.  The children really enjoyed it. They played for 3 hours straight.

Fun game

I took this party on a weekend trip to the lake with family and friends and it saved us from a boring trip!  The object of this game is to not guy pie'd in the face.  We've played the original version of this game but, this is version is definitely better... you can play with two people, it's twice the fun!  Although this game is very nerve wracking and can get messy, it's not a huge deal because, it's hilarious!  I definitely recommend pie face showdown for the holidays or family trips.  This game is good for kids and adults so, everyone can play!

Two people!

We're late to the Pie Face game craze having skipped the 1st version and going straight to the showdown.

My 8 year old had no issues with putting the game together or taking it apart.  To clean we took the plastic pieces and cleaned under running water and wiped off the other the face plates with wet paper towels.

While the game is fun for the first couple of times, after 15 min the kids were tired of it and just eating the whip cream.

This is a fun game but have something else ready for when they get bored.

Lots of Fun

We had 5 kids take turn play the Pie Face game and they had a blast!

The kids enjoyed anticipating who was going to get hit on the face and also eating the whipped cream afterwards. A couple of kids even timed when the hand was going to flip up, so they could catch the whipped cream in their mouth and eat it instead! Genius. As an adult, the best part was watching them get pied on the face and everyone would laugh. The game itself is pretty simple, but I think that’s what makes it fun! Super easy to set up and you just need whipped cream. Or if you prefer not using whipped cream, then the game also comes with a sponge and you just need to wet it. When the wet sponge hits you on the face, then you get splashed with water instead. Personally, I think it’s much more fun using whipped cream rather than the wet sponge because there is more at stake and the kids try harder. Also, the flap for the wet sponge didn’t seem to have the same “effect,” thus all of the kids preferred the whipped cream.

Just keep in mind that this game could get a little messy! Thus will require some time to clean up afterwards. Also, I recommend having some paper towel or wipe handy during the game.
