Yes, this would be perfect for a six year old. The age grading is 5 years & up.

4 year old can’t get enough of this toy! Kept the gorilla off because when it drops, it’s super loud..so much nicer without it. She loves it and plays with it for hours every single day.

Hottest toy of the season

5 year old son plays with this for hours. You can do several things at once with it and it is big enough for 3 boys to play with at the same time. Excellent quality, relatively easy to assemble. The gorilla crashes down and is startling, but my son removed it easily (much quieter toy now). Be warned - it is HUGE!

GREAT TOY! If your working with minimal floor space-get bunk beds. This garage is worth the expense and room it will take up. Our son can get lost on this for hours.

Fun for both boys and girls ( and parents!)

We bought this for our seven year son for Christmas. He loves it! Lots to do. Way bigger then the appearance on commercials! 
A great bonus is you can connect other hot wheels tracks on to it.
Our ten year daughter finds it entertaining as well.

Bought this for my boys (2.5 and 5.5), they LOVE It!!  It is huge, way bigger than I expected, but they play with it for hours.  Keeps friends busy when they come to visit and it’s big enough for everyone to play with.   Has some neat features.  
Downfall was that the gorilla broke right off the bat and so we didn’t get to use that feature but I think it would get in the way.   Some cars are too long and get stuck in the lift, but even my boys seemed to figure that out and know which to avoid.  

Has it’s goods and bars but it keeps them entertained so not disapppointed with this purchase at all

Hours of fun!

We recently purchased this on clearance. We have a 7-year-old who loves cars, and he's so very happy with it. Beware, this thing is huge and takes up considerable space. Assembly is straight-forward and easy. We ended up removing the Gorilla as it was just loud & annoying, and the plane on top is relatively useless. The elevator corkscrew seems to jam easily. Minor gripes though, overall we're quite pleased.

Huge!

This gift has been the highlight of christmas this year. All three of our boys play with it (range in ages from 6-10). It is easy to assemble- the kids helped! It's a bit loud when using the battery function but not obtrusive. I'd give it 5 stars but the quality is a little lacking. We already have had to 'fix' the gorilla (day two of owning it) with screws falling out and plastic splitting. However, it hasn't affected the fun factor and we were able to get it working again.

Easy to use & put together

Just purchased this Hot Wheels Garage on clearance. It’s massive and barely fits in the bedroom- add some extra tracks and it won’t! Extra gentle care should be taken when playing with the gorilla and teradactyl, but no complaints so far.

Big entertainment value!

kids loved it, set up is easy good instructions but the Gorilla on it broke after 3 days... three days, I mean really three days.  This is sad and looking at reviews online quite common with this product.  With it's price I would have expected a lot more durable product from top to bottom.
