Great DLSR Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time to step up to a more advanced DSLR! The Nikon D7200 DSLR is a great camera for the Intermediate to Advanced user who isn't ready to commit to the price of a full frame camera. The features, options, and capabilities with its 24.2 megapixels, Wi-Fi connectivity, and 100-25600 ISO makes it a great camera for my many interests (nature, wildlife, astronomy, casual). I have had this camera for two months and have shot over 2500 pictures. Each is not a masterpiece, but I have gotten some excellent images out of the lot that I consider art gallery worthy. For me, the camera is worth what I paid and will be a part of my DSLR kit for a long time to come!
I would recommend this to a friend- Pros mentioned:Two lenses

Great Entry Level DLSR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved up from a Canon Point and Shot to this Camera, based on recommendations from other Photographers. Love the crisp detail and fast Autofocus with good low light shots, I got the kit with two lenses that work very well for the average person needs.

Great way to get aquainted with Nikon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The D7200 is an advanced amateur/pro camera. Because it's so versatile it's also complicated - lots of buttons and menu items figure out. Once that's done it'll handle any situation. A true quality camera with a wide variety of accessories available.

Q: QuestionAre the pulse motor lens compatible with other older Nikon camera (D-5100), and are older lens compatible with the D-7200 camera?
Asked by Redsoxbill.
- A:Answer The Nikon D5100 DSLR camera body is incompatible with AF-P type lenses. These lenses use the camera menu to set focus mode and VR and not every Nikon DSLR camera has the capability of using the menu for these tasks, even with a firmware update. The Nikon D7200 DSLR camera is fully compatible with AI, AF, AF-S, and newer E-type lenses, so if any of your older lenses are one of these types you will have no trouble using them. It should be noted, however, there is a limition of use with AF-P lenses on the D7200. One limitation is that AF-P lenses do not have a VR ON/OFF switch so VR designated AF-P lenses will default to ON when used on this camera. In addition, the focus ring on the lens cannot be disabled when in autofocus mode. However, even with these limitations, the AF-P lenses are amazingly sharp and provide outstanding performance when used with the Nikon D7200 camera.

Q: Questionwould this be a good package for someone to start with in photography? wife wanting to start taking pics and have no clue what to start her with.
Asked by harvey6767.
- A:Answer The Nikon D7200 DSLR Two Lens kit makes an excellent gift for photography. It has an auto mode for DSLR novice users and a large variety of modes and settings for advanced use. With it's low-light shooting capability and ability to shoot at 6 frames per second, the D7200 is ideal for photographers who don't want to miss out on any of the action. Nikon also makes DSLR camera kits for beginner photographers as well; D3300 and D3400 camera kits have an easy-to-use, on-camera guide mode to help the user capture stunning images as it teaches the basics of photography.

Q: QuestionAre both lenses VR ?
Asked by Rah.
- A:Answer The Nikon D7200 DSLR dual lens kit with product number 13533 comes with a Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens and a Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED telephoto zoom lens. The Nikon AF-P 18-55mm lens has VR while the Nikon 70-300mm lens does not. Both lenses use a pulse motor (utilizing stepping motors) system to focus smoother and quieter than previous drive systems.

Q: QuestionCan anyone tell me what size filters these lenses that come in the package kit take? I have an older Nikon D3200 that uses 52mm filters. Just curious about whether I'll be able to use those or whether these lenses that come with the D7200 use a diff size?
Asked by ND7200.
- A:Answer The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens uses a Nikon 55mm screw-on filter while the Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED lens uses a 58mm screw-on filter. Filters are not included in this Nikon D7200 DSLR kit.
