No it does not. It will fit if you put down the 2nd row as well, but it only fits in one direction bc the opening in the back is only like 44 inches wide so the 50 inches is how far in you have to go. We just bought one and we have a traverse so we know for sure exactly what way it fits.

How big is the box? Would it fit in a Traverse with the 3rd row seats laid down?

Original order got "lost" in Illinois. Contacted customer service and they rushed a replacement to my granddaughter. My granddaughter was ecstatic.  She actually jumped up and down, she was so happy. My son assembled it, had no problem in doing so. My granddaughter then drove and drove and drove. She's happy so I'm happy. This vehicle is fast.
