The Pioneer Woman 17 pc cookware set in mint is just gorgeous,it came with 3 glass lids that fit my pans and coolers a preseasoned plus cast iron skillet that is so heavy that I'm amazed the last one I bought felt like it was made out of pop metal it also has 2 lg wooden utensils and the most beautiful rectangular baker and 4 dipping bowls, i have heard good things about the pions cookware for a long time but had never tried it , so when I got offered the chance to review it I jumped all over it and let me tell you they where not joking this stuff is awesome and the bonus is it's pretty to look at while you're doing it , i have 3 other sets of cookware but this is my new favorite , great cookware at a fair price try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I'm not!!!

Gorgeous

This cookware set is a hit! It's a definite winner and I think it would make a great housewarming gift or even wedding gift for a young adult or just married couple who is living on their own for the first time. It's got all the major pots and pans you'd need plus an old school cast iron skillet and an adorable ceramic dish for baking. You can't go wrong with this set. I can't say enough how much I enjoy it. My baked goods come out super cute and look even more professional because of the eye popping colors and decoration of the dish. 
The pots and pans are very sturdy and heavy – not too heavy, but feel really solid. They have a super cute silver Pioneer Woman plate on the pots near the handle. 
My foods cook evenly and nicely. I like the colors on my set in that it has a kind of ombre effect from dark to light teal on the pots. I haven't used the cast iron skillet yet but plan to make cast iron skillet cornbread. My set came with a small booklet with recipes from the Pioneer Woman herself, and some basic info on the care and maintenance of the set. 
Caution – wash with a warm mildly soapy dish rag – no scrubbers. If something is cooked on or you let a pan sit out overnight and foods gets hardened on the pan, let it soak in hot water most of the day and then wipe out with a warm soapy rag.

Gorgeous Cookware

A very impressive set for the money. This would make a lovely house warming or shower gift. I appreciate the thoughtful details like the silicone coating on all the handles. The cast iron pan comes with removable color coordinated silicone guards for the handles. Speaking of the handles, they are very well attached and do not look that like they will rust or pull away from the pan anytime soon. I tested out the non-stick coating on the frying pan by frying an egg without adding any kind of fat or nonstick cooking spray and it was like an infomercial, it rolled right out of the pan: Impressive, and clean up was a breeze! I tested this cookware on a gas stove. The instructions that came with this set specifically say: "ceramic and glass stove tops are not ideal for this cookware. Never over heat or allow to boil dry, it could fuse into the stove top." Something to keep in mind for sure. The lids are glass and have a small vent which should prevent boil-overs. My only wish is that the lid for the largest pot would also fit the frying pan, it does not. This set also came with a pretty ceramic Baker and four small bowls that can be used as pinch bowls or sauce dipping bowls. I am very impressed and would highly recommend this set to anyone.

Practical and beautiful

First off just so you know the box IS heavy. With that said, this is such a nice set! Every lid handle has a rubber safety on it. Every pan has a rubber safety on it. And the steel frying pan comes with two removable ones. Really pretty color. The frying pan has a glitter finish inside. The design flowers are so classy! Adds a bit of elegance to the kitchen and a set table. The biggest pot is a very nice size. Reminds me of a soup pot. I can think of a ton of casseroles and hot dishes that can be made in it as well. The dish that comes with this set is oven safe and the perfect size for a lasagna. I absolutely love this set! Highly recommend!

Really Nice Set!

Set comes with 17 beautiful versatile pieces that would make a great shower or housewarming gift. The non-stick coating is practical and beautiful; it glistens like new fallen snow, and it works! I cooked an egg in the frying pan without any cooking spray or butter it did not stick! I appreciate the thoughtful detail that all the handles on the pots pans and lids are coated so you won't have to use a pot holder to handle them. The cast iron pan comes with what looks like silicone color coordinated removable covers for the handle. The handle on the cast-iron pan and on the silicone cover for the handle both feature The pioneer woman butterfly design etched into them. All of the glass lids have a small vents to let steam escape to prevent boil overs. The care instructions state to use wood or silicone utensils. This set included two beautiful acacia wood utensils! Care instructions recommend hand washing also use on a gas stove is recommended. Pots and pans also come in a variety of pretty colors. I've never had an entire set of nonstick cookware this should make a clean up a breeze! I am very impressed with the quality of this set. I especially like how the handles are attached to the pan (see picture).

This is a very beautiful cookware set. It performed very well in the kitchen and was easy to clean up. I love the cast iron skillet that comes with the set and, for me, it is the perfect size and it's substantial in weight. The color is beautiful along with the attention to detail on each piece. Even the cast iron has beautiful details on it. I do wish the baking dish and bowls were a tad larger but it works. I plan to have this around for quite some time and, hopefully, pass it down to my daughters.

Beautiful Cookware

Overall I really like this dazzling dahlias 17 piece cookware set, there are a few complaints though. I really wish it didn't come with the ceramic dish that it comes with and the small bowls. I really don't know what you would even use the small bowls for so they're pretty useless to me and I'm not really fond of the pattern on them. Also I I've never really used cast iron before so the skillet is a whole new area of knowledge for me. I hear that you're supposed to season your cast iron skillets before you use them but I don't really know how to do that so I'll have to do some more research. I did put a bunch of oil in it when I used it for the first time to cook some eggs and it works pretty well with minimal sticking. The cast iron pot comes with two rubber handles for each side of the thing and I already lost one, I don't know how or if it accidentally got thrown away or something but it's gone. I love the cookware set themselves, and the fact that each thing comes with the lid is pretty awesome. One thing I had with my old set was a problem with boiling over and this set has nice vent holes in each one of the lids which prevents that from happening which I love. The pots and pans have or ceramic non-stick coating that works really well. Also I hear that ceramic panda are fine to use around birds as I have an African grey parrot. I've cooked eggs and grilled cheeses and a whole bunch of other things on the pans and not had issues with sticking. I do use a little bit of oil though. I really wish it came with a smaller pan as one of my most used pans in my previous set was a small egg frying pan so I'm going to have to make do with a larger one. I love the gradient colors of the blue on the outside it's really beautiful, and I'm really happy to have a brand new set as my last one lasted me five whole years I hope this one does the same.

Wish it came with more pans

Very pretty graduated mint green color. Love the soft, well attached handles. Well made lids. Heavy duty wood. Nice starter set or for me it's a good replacement for my worn out stuff. Cooked an egg in the skillet, so slippery it was hard to flip! Casserole is 9" x 5.5" on the bottom, about 12" x 8" at the top, good size for 2 people. Came with sticky goo inside -to hold a box on- that was very hard to remove. It came off after I soaked in hot water & dish soap. Cast iron skillet is pre-treated and everything comes with good directions. I rarely get cast iron wet. I use a chain mail scratcher and re-season. (Like any good dishes they should be hand washed and, except for the cast iron, no metal or scratchy utensils) 2 of the little bowls match the set, but I wish the other 2 didn't look out of place because they are two different designs that don't match anything. The removable handles for the cast iron don't fit very well, a common problem. I wish the large lid fit the skillet, it needs a 9.5" size.

Would make great gift

Overall, I am fairly happy with the Pioneer Woman Fiona Floral 17-piece red cookware set. The set comes with a great variety of aluminum pan sizes with lids, a cast iron skillet, rubber handles, ceramic floral bakeware, dipping bowls and wooden cooking tools. There is a dutch oven, sauce pans, and a skillet that are red porcelain. I love that the aluminum cookware is nonstick and that the pre-seasoned cast iron skillet is rust resistant. The rectangular ceramic bakeware is great for using in the oven, and the 4 small ceramic dipping bowls are perfect for using for dipping sauces, or sorting small amounts of ingredients when mixing up a recipe. I'm not thrilled that the cookware is not recommended for the dishwasher and even though I usually hand wash my pans, I would feel more comfortable having the option of safely washing it in the dishwasher. There was some kind of damage to the wooden cooking utensils because inside the bag was all wet, and you could visually see that the utensils themselves were wet, and could feel it when I pulled them out of the bag. I would recommend this 17-piece set to anyone looking for a good, reliable set of cookware.

Good Pan Set

If you watch her show you see the cookware she uses...this isn't that lol. That being said, it's still good. Nothing crazy out of the ordinary, it's very run of the mill, most sets in this price range are pretty much the same. The sauce pans are great, kids are very important and both have a lid which I love. Also love the bake/serving dish, not huge but perfect size for sides and the wooden cooking utensils are my favorite! The pans are pretty small, 10 inch pans aren't good for a whole lot to be honest. Unless you're coming for one or two, they are almost useless so not at all a fan of them. It's a waste really. Also not a fan of the small dipping bowls, if you can even call them bowls? They're tiny, prefect size for maybe wasabi or something but honestly do t k ow what else they would be useful for, again a waste for me. The cast iron pan is a nice addition, unexpected and not the norm in cooking sets, also says it's lreseasoned which is nice but I'll be honest, it doesn't look like it at all so I will season it myself. One hide thing u noticed when reading the insert is that these are NOT recommended for use with glass too stives. No explanation was given as to why, but that's what it says and since that is what I have, not super happy about that. Overall I'm not too thrilled with this set and I REALLY wanted to be.

Not the best, but good.

I love the set and color but when I first used it the pots turned a darker red when exposed to the heat. not the best picture but its definitely too different colors.

I love this. I have needed new cookware for such a long time but I am so picky that I could never find anything that was right. I don't like the stainless steel stuff it looks so industrial in my kitchen and I wanted something different this time and every thing else was too expensive so not only is this affordable but it's exactly what I was looking for. It even came with a cast iron skillet. Super triple awesome. My go-to pan for cooking almost everything. When I moved out of my mother's house she gave me one, which I still have, but now I have another one. I love cast Iron. I love her products. The wooden spoons provided for you so you don't chip the enamel. It is pretty nonstick. I've been using it every day since I got it and haven't had any issues with it. I don't have a dishwasher in my apartment so I can't tell you how they fair in the dishwasher but everyday washing they hold up just fine. My mom came over to watch the kids and used it, she loved it so much I bought her a set for Christmas in a different color than mine. I love the little bowls. I use them more for holding ingredients when I'm cooking than anything else but they are so good to have . The silicon for the handle is actual a lifesaver. Thanks for including that.
