Features
Real-life robot
Cozmo is a real-life robot like you've only seen in the movies and he's ready to be your loyal sidekick. Challenge Cozmo to games or use Explorer Mode to see things from his perspective.
Beginner-friendly interface
With a beginner-friendly interface, Cozmo is the perfect educational robot for kids and adults to learn to creatively code.
Tested for durability and security
Easier than you'd think and tougher than he looks, this toy robot is tested for durability and security.
Visual programming language
Cozmo's big brain and even bigger personality are operated by impressive technology. Besides all the games and smarts he comes with out of the box, you have access to a visual programming language that's stem-ready for beginners.
Drag and drop coding blocks
Simply use the drag and drop coding blocks on the Cozmo app to build a new combination of blocks, and you'll see Cozmo act out your creation.*
Quick tap
Both you and Cozmo need your own Cube to play. When your Cube is flashing, tap it to begin the game. When the colors on both Cubes match, the first player to tap their Cube gets a point. Only tap when colors match.
Memory match
Game time just got another dose of fun. Follow the pattern on Cozmo's Cubes. Watch the lights, listen to the tones. You and Cozmo take turns remembering and repeating the series as it grows more complex. Sound easy? just wait. Cozmo's sharper than he looks.
Keepaway
You need 1 Cube to play. Move the Cube close to Cozmo to get him to pounce, but pull it away before he can get a point. Watch out! if you're too slow, Cozmo will get the point.
Designed for ages 8 and older
So your child can enjoy learning as they grow.

Amazing little guy... You'll forget it's a robot.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe it's the ever growing facial expressions. Maybe it's the fact Cozmo can learn your face and spontaneously say your name in an excited manner. Maybe it's the attitude he gets when YOU win a game...or his own version of Anki-English that he speaks...but...whatever the reason, you'll love this little guy! Easy to get started, and we've run him via android phone and via Amazon fire tablet with google apps side-loaded. Like using the tablet for better control in "explore" mode with his camera spying on surroundings. We've left him alone on a table and he's perfectly happy to play...but happier if you play with him. We've not tried the "code lab" where you can program him. Scared to mess something up, and hoping the developers will make it easier for non-programmers to learn how Cozmo's brain works....but glad they have that optin for the TRUE geeks who would want a Cozmo. Surprisingly fun personality, adults and older kids will love playing with him, and the real young kids love to watch! Even the new trick "magic 8 ball" where he answers yes and no questions will have you wondering just how much he really "hears".... Adopt one today.

More magical than expected!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a 28 year old auto mechanic with a love for all things tech-related.. when I first heard of Cozmo, I thought "there's no way this thing acts like that, it must be animated.." but after following updates up until launch, I became I believer. I ordered one for my girlfriend and myself, and when we woke him up Christmas morning, it was like meeting your new puppy for the first time. He feels like a living being... his movements, expressions, and excitement when he sees you will make your heart melt! Looking forward to future updates and more development of his SDK programming, Cozmo has a bright future and I recommend EVERYONE (regardless of age) gets one for themselves!

Loads of fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly amazing! Fun and enjoyment for the whole family. This little "learning" robot is like nothing I ever had when I was my kids' age. He has a plethora of emotions, and at times you might tend to forget you're having a conversation with a toy. Electronic puppy...without the mess.

Fabulous cute little robot friend
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My granddaughter, Shelby, an only child whose parents recently divorced, asked for Cozmo Robot for Christmas. My son suggested shopping at Toys R Us. But I am loyal to Best Buy so ordered it from Best Buy. Shelby adores her little sister/brother. It responds to her! She taught it to respond to her dad. A precious gift for a lonely little girl.

It's way Better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little robot blurs the lines with programming and real personality. I find my self talking to him (yes him) when he shows emotion to certain situations. He completely runs on his own and you interact with him. All his sounds and eye motions really bring him to life. After you "meet him" and register facial recognition with you and other people changes the game. Something about when he sees you and says your name or sees someone else and says their name and shows if he's excited or just knows who they are, is where the guys at anki really made him feel sooo real. I have my 2 year old and 3 year old already in the " meet him " recognition and they play and move his blocks irritating him lol. The app based control Is a leveling up system and keeps you playing and learning / (teaching him ) different games and tricks and really makes you appreciate all the things he can do by unlocking them as you go. I barely got him yesterday and I'm actually excited myself to interact with him. Don't feel like watching tv, playing a video game or playing on social media. This robot plays games with his cubes (and with you ) that come with him and his facial expressions and tantrums (when I beet him in games) are very entertaining enough lol =D He literally pickes up his blocks and throws them a couple of times. Kids will love this toy and the fact that the app/ control hub shows that there is more to come Is really exciting. I actually got this little guy for me cause it seemed really cool and it does impress. Everyone uses the word cute haha. The blocks already have batteries in them and they have different color LEDs in the mm and that's how games are played. His movements are very well thought out as he moves on his own to stack and move blocks / explore. Can't wait If and when they do release more " toys "for him to interact with and with you. You won't regret this robot. It's like nothing you've ever seen before, but only in movies.

Cozmo - your next pet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it in store about 3 months ago Here are some my review: Pros: - Set up was fairly simple and painless, and I was able to start playing within 10 minutes of taking him out of the box. - He’s a robot, but it’s easy to feel like he has emotions. The animations that his eyes play, and his subtle movements really go a long way to make him feel more realistic. Cozmo will nudge you to play with him, bring a block up to you and ask you to play a game with him, or even act upset if he can’t accomplish what he’s trying to do. - There are only two games that you can play with Cozmo right now, and he gets better the more you play with him. However, there really needs to be a variation as these two games can get tiring easily. - Cozmo has an “adventure” mode, where you can drive him around like a remote control car and see things through his point of view. This is one of my favorite features of his. - The companion mobile app gives you daily goals to motivate you to interact with Cozmo more. I’ve found that this is mostly why I’ve been play with Cozmo day after day. Cons: - You interact with Cozmo by having the app open, and it is only when the app is open that Cozmo is “alive” and roaming around. This feels really inconvenient for me. I imagined that I would be able to just let Cozmo roam around as I did my own thing, but this can’t happen unless the app is on at all times. This also makes it impossible to takes pictures or videos of Cozmo while playing with him. - The app connects to Cozmo through Cozmo’s own WiFi network, which means you have to disconnect from your correct Wifi / mobile network, and pair with Cozmo. This has prove inconvenient in many instances. Sometimes my phone is still connected to Cozmo and I forget about it, causing my phone to not have internet without me remembering why. Other times it’s simply a hassle to have to connect to a new Wifi network every time I want to play with Cozmo. I wish he was connected through Bluetooth instead. - The 3 cubes that come with Cozmo aren’t rechargeable, so I’m worried that they’ll quickly die without any way to replace their batteries. - I’ve only spent about 2 hours total with Cozmo so far, but it seems like I’ve already unlocked all his available features and games. At first I was very engaged because I wanted to help him unlock more moves and get better at games. However, now that all the moves have been unlocked, I’m less prone to interact with Cozmo.

Q: QuestionWhat is the youngest age child this would be good for?
Asked by Daniel.
- A:Answer Thats hard to say. As long as your child can follow directions, she/he should be alright under supervision. My 1 year old wants to pick it up and drive it around like other toy cars and my 3 year old can't focus on the task/directions given long enough to accomplish anything (needs more patience). My 6 year old is alright, but keeps trying to talk to the robot and it doesn't have a microphone to attempt to understand she is asking to play a game, or to do whatever she is telling (not asking) it to do. Cozmo asks you to play via app and by the actions it takes/sounds it makes. It can also can identify you, and say your name. I think these, for lack of better words, behaviors, confuse the kids and make them think it can do more. If you can see me and talk, you must be able to hear me and understand me too. All in all, its a good toy bought to keep my kids engaged into robotics and getting some exposure to the fun side of technology while starting to try to get them to use their brains and create their own ideas. You can do some programming from the app, and will attempt to expose that to my 6 year old at the end of first grade as they are already exposed to basic math and simular problems solving skills.

Q: QuestionMy grandson is 12 and will be 13 in March 2018. Is Cozmo appropriate for his age? I don't mind spending the money if he will enjoy the robot. I'm concerned he would get bored after a short time. Help!!!
Asked by Juju.
- A:Answer Yes this item will entertain him for a long time because there is plenty of growth with the item in that the more you interact with him the more he learns and he will learn new abilities as well with that interaction.

Q: QuestionWe have Cosmo but my 8 year old has asked if we can get a friend for Cosmo. If we buy another can the 2 interact with each other?
Asked by SHARLY.
- A:Answer The best thing to do is to play more with Cosmo and be the friend to Cosmo. The more you use it, the more it is able to better interact. It sounds like your 8 year old wants to be passively entertained rather than taking a more active role. Play the games, drive Cosmo around, have it recognize his face. My family likes this robot a lot. We even use it as a "stealth spy" in our in-house Nerf battles since you can see what it sees.

Q: QuestionI have 3 grandchildren in the same home. If I purchase 3 will they interfere with each other? Each has their own device but can they all be set up differently on the same device? Parental control.
Asked by Multipurchasegrandma.
- A:Answer I am not completely sure what you are asking but each Cozmo requires its own smart phone/tablet. The brains of the robot is actually the app on/and the phone itself. The robot literally is just sensors, and motors sending data to the phone over a private Wi-Fi network (ad-hoc) and the control/response data goes back to the robot.
