Get Ready to Laugh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie had me laughing from beginning to the very end. These senior citizens decide to come back the the basketball game, because Dax lost his street ball team to an old rival and he’s determined to put together a team to play against his rival’s team to win the cash prize. Dax sees Uncle Drew (Kyrie Irving) playing on the basketball court and talks him into getting a team together to play in the upcoming tournament. Uncle Drew contacts all his old homies, but he had old unresolved issues with his friend played by Shaquille O’Neal; who in the beginning resisted the idea of playing ball with Uncle Drew, but soon came around. In the end they all come together and go on to win the basketball game that most people thought they would lose, due to them being much older than the opposing team.

Enjoyable Sports Fantasy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lighthearted story that combines comedy with a touch of drama and history into an easy to digest movie. This film provides a much needed and appreciated break from all the heaviness in the world today. The Blu-ray exclusives and special features give more opportunities to escape from all the madness for a few more moments. I especially like the "Dear Drew Animated Short" and the club dancing scene. The casting, directing, acting, location and action are all on point.

A movie that's easy to overlook but should not be
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly when I was in the theater and saw the trailer for this movie I thought to myself who in their right mind would see this? It look like a campy and somewhat stupid movie. I was so wrong very entertaining with a positive message also one of the funniest movies of the year. Do yourself a favor grab a few friends and watch this movie. As the matter of fact we bought this as a gift for everyone for Christmas.

Nice movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Last night I watched this movie on my Samsung JS8500 4k HDR tv using Sony 4k ubpx800 player and Samsung new Soundbar HW N850. Harmon Kardon. The picture quality and colors were good. The sound was good as well with a little Dolby Atmos. The acting was decent from retired basketball players. I don’t think it’s worth 29.99 I would wait to about 22.00 in my opinion.

One of my favorite steelbooks of the year!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love unique steelbooks. Uncle Drew in my opinion has one of the best designs I’ve seen all year! Very creative and detailed! Solid film! It had my brother and I laughing straight to the end. Love basketball films. Lil Rel Howery has a great future ahead of him. Really awesome seeing Kyrie Irving give a good performance as well. Definitely worth a watch!

A hilarious fun filled movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed watching this movie, and have to admit that I was laughing outrageously through probably 3/4's of the movie. There were some serious elements in the movie, but you could tell that all of the incognito basketball stars involved had a fun time making it. Absolutely loved the "Wolverine's grandfather" comment made to Shaq will the Wolverine sideburns.

So funny
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband wanted this movie as he is a ridiculous bball fan, and from the previews it looked funny enough (plus Tiffany Haddish is absolutely hysterical to me). WAAAAAY better than I thought it would be, we both thoroughly enjoyed the movie. While there were some awkward funny parts (as is to be expected based on the cast), all-in-all it was a great comedy.
