Best and Great Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never thought that I would love to own one but having to buy this camera is the best thing I have ever done. We enjoyed it so much. We don’t have to retake taking pictures of the same poses because it takes the best quality pictures and videos. Great quality and I love all the features that comes with it. We first used this camera last Christmas 2017 and have used it again right after Christmas to our family vacations to Sea World and Disneyland. I am very very pleased for all the videos and pictures we took, no fail and no more frustrations but a plain great time with the family capturing the best moments of our vacations. I am very thankful of the good gentleman who was helping me and educating me on which is which to pick for a camera. He helped me a lot and got my decision fixed to get this one. He is a good employee he made his customer very happy and satisfied and this camera will be part of our good family memories for a longest time for sure.

Canon EOS 80D - High Quality, Many Features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I opened the box to lift out my camera, I saw it was solid and included sturdy accessories. The 67 mm lens will provide excellent night photos and the sensor cleaning keeps pictures clear. The high resolution 6000 by 4000 pixels (about double the area of my current cellphone camera) plus the RAW format provides endless options. Wi-Fi helps with the transfer of pictures to my smartphone, printer or web photo processing service and more. I love the remote control from my phone. I will test the Wi-Fi range. I had 11 years of use / 20,000 pictures from my previous Canon (Rebel XT), so it made sense to me to find an equivalent Canon or more professional model.

Amazing camera if you know what to do with it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my Canon t4i that I had been shooting on for 6 years, and this was honestly the best purchase I could have made. I do both photography and videography somewhat professionally. This is the best Canon camera you can buy in terms of versatility. It is the only Canon camera that is good for both video and photo work. However, do not buy this camera if you are not familiar with camera settings or if you're not looking to educate yourself on camera settings (aperture, ISO, shutter speeds, etc.) This camera is NOT worth the money if you're not going to take full advantage of its settings. You might as well buy a point and shoot camera or take photos on your iPhone if that's the case.

Great overall DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon 80D fills a good spot between the Canon consumer models in the Rebel line, and the "pro" models such as the full frame 5DM4. It has a very nice AF system, good build quality, and a lot of customization possible. I upgraded from a 7D. While I stepping down a bit in the frames per second (from 8 to 7) the 80D's better AF system and ISO range are worthwhile. The touchscreen is something I can take or leave, but I have been using it. I am also attending the monthly BB camera experience store workshops, and the most recent session was on video, and the 80D is much easier to use video wise than my earlier DSLRs. BB matched the price on Amazon, during one of the Amazon's short "sales" that they had.

Great next step up camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I narrowed down my choices to this 80d or a Nikon 7500. While reviews said the Nikon was slightly better for pics I am not a professional. Picture taking is my hobby. I had a canon t 3? While I still get good pics with that this camera is way better. I got it right before a trip to the beach and had no problems taking great action pics of surfers and wild ponies. I was able to get great shots of the kids and of sunrises. Pics came out great and didn't even need to edit. If you love taking pics and want better pics then I recommend this camera. If you are going to be taking a lot of pics but don't need all the extras you can get a t6 for a lot cheaper and takes great pics too.

Perfect all around camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your a causal photographer or want that epic shot this is the camera for you. Great for YouTube videos and dog photos at the park and surprisingly takes great portraits with the kit lens. Only had the camera for a couple days but the upgrade from the 70d was well worth it

Q: QuestionWill the 80D's 45 pt focus array work in the Sports Mode or is it just single pt?My old T3i only had a single focus point when using the Sports mode; hopefully the 80D uses its full 45 point focus array in Sports mode... True or False... Thanx, Mark
Asked by Mark.
- A:Answer I used that when taking action photos indoors of the athletes I coach. Had no problems and pictures were stunning!

Q: QuestionWhat is the big difference between the 80d and 70d because the only thing i see is like it's $200 more...
Asked by josiahe111.
- A:Answer The 80D has 45 All cross type focus points whereas the 70D has only 19, which means its easy to select an object to focus on if you're shooting quickly. The 80D has a 24MP newer sensor. This makes it better in low-light and has better dynamic range. The viewfinder is 100% coverage in the 80D so what you see through the viewfinder or life mode is exactly what you get in photo/video mode. The 70D has only 98% coverage so you have to guess what will be in those borders. The 80D has a headphone jack for better audio quality/monitoring in video mode. (I'm not sure if that's important to you) The 80D has better weather sealing to combat the elements. It has NFC so you can send photos right to your camera after you shoot and there is a timelapse feature built into the camera. I would say it's worth it.

Q: QuestionIs the 80D able to take good photos in low light like the 5d mark III? Thanks
Asked by Iced.
- A:Answer I would say ANY camera struggles in low light. The 80D does a remarkable job in low light. It really depends on the lens. Nikon appears to handle higher ISOs better but I can get great low light shots at 1600-3200 using the kit lens.

Q: QuestionIs this a full frame camera?
Asked by Rico.
- A:Answer No, the 80D is not a full frame camera. It has an APS-C sensor in it.
