Larger cameras will have clearance issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item hoping to use it with my Canon EOS 6D. It took a minute to figure out the balancing, and even more minutes to figure out the hand controls. There are a lot of youtube videos on this, so it isn't a huge detractor. My camera is fairly large, it's a full frame camera, and I have a heavy lens. There were times the gimble would have to work really hard to keep up with it. It was noticeable with vibration in the hand. When it wasn't struggling to keep up with the weight, it did work very well on smoothing out the shots I took. I will also say the quality of the product is excellent. My intention when purchasing this item was to use it when my Wife and I go on vacation to make some videos about our travels. However, once I received it, I realized this wasn't an item I would want to pack with us. Pros: Quality Fairly easy to set up. Tons of videos on usage as well as tips and tricks. Cons: weight. size. Overall this is a good product with a lot of features. If you have a lot of space and a smaller camera, this product should work very well for you. It does have a learning curve on the controls, but as I stated before there are a ton of videos on how to use it.

Works fine. But
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a canon 77D with lens 50mm 1.4 And this product works fine but I can see little bit of struggle. I think it doesn’t have enough power to handle my equipment. The price is very good! I already try, and I like it!

Good, Not Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buyer Beware that this gimbal malfunctions as the camera mounting plate was designed to large. The plate physically hits and damages the motor assembly. This is a poor design and will damage your gimbal when using it. I have contacted Zhiyun through FB Support and they ignore the problem and demand videos, photos, etc., but this issue is well documented online with their support and they are well aware of it. Otherwise, the product does function good and does provide stable video....just be aware that you will incur damage from its own poor product design. I have yet to resolve this issue with them, so support is not great either.

Awesome gimbal!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was leaning towards getting a DJI Osmo but since I already owned DSLR cameras and since they do better in lowlight settings, I took the plunge on the Crane v2. I owned a previous "stabilizer" that was a pain to get balance, but the Zhiyun Crane v2 made balancing as simple as mounting and pushing a button. Would buy this 100 times over. It takes a little getting used to but it is an awesome device. Have used it already a few times on shoots and look forward to mastering my skills with it.

Great gimbal for the Sony Alpha
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this primarily with my Sony A7iii, and I’ve customized it to fit my needs. My only wish would be for it to hold heavier weights. I still recommend it.

Love this Gimbal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using this with Canon 5d mark IV and 24 - 105 L f/4. Total weight about 1500 grams. Works beautifully. But, you must get the latest firmware and go into the Zhiyun Gimbal Tools App and set the motor power to "high". This allows the higher weight of the canon DSLR. I used a iMacPro and the Mac version of the Gimbal Tools. Works great. Amazingly smooth and stabilized video for a steal of a price. I'm sure the new DJI and new Zhiyun products have more features, but bang for the buck is great on this one.

Awesome for novice and experts.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS GIMBAL IS VERSION 2 since they dont let you know if which one it is. Easy to balance, easy to use with bigger cameras. It can hold my canon rp and 24-105mm f4 with the included lens extention. Battery life is insane. Buy it now especially if its on sale for $200 like it was last week when i got it. Making it the best gimbal you can buy right now.

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with the Nikon D3500?
Asked by Nate.
- A:Answer It is set up for full frame cameras so yes it will work with the 3500. Just be sure to check the weight of the lens you use. The longer the lens the motors work a little harder to keep balance so battery life goes a little faster. A good prime lens though and you’re set

Q: QuestionDoes it work with Nikon D5000
Asked by Freshmen.
- A:Answer Hi, It will depend on the weight of your lens. The limit listed for the Crane is 3lbs 14oz (3.9lbs). A D5000 body with battery tips the scales at 1lb 5oz. A light weight zoom should be fine with the Crane.I have used it with a Sony A99 body with a Sony 28-75 2.8 SAL.which weigh in at 3lbs 4oz (3.25lbs). It works fine as long as the combination is thoroughly balanced before hand. It seems that the heavier the camera lens combo, the shorter the battery life. After a couple of hours of use, I haven't run the battery dead yet though. I hope this helps. petesidewalk
