Amazon announced today that they are offering 15% off the Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX7 and the $69 Kindle for one day only to say thanks for the FAA allowing passengers to use the Kindle device from take-off through landing. Kohl's announced this morning that they are having an online Super Saturday Early Birds Sale with savings of up to 50% off select toys. In addition, Kohl's customers can use promo codes DREAMTOYS (exp 11/7) to save $10 off $40 or more on toys along with promo code PUMPKIN (exp 11/3) to save an extra 15% off. If your final order is $50 or more Kohls will also give you $10 back in Kohl's Cash.

Not to be outdone by Walmart, Amazon has also launched the Amazon Count Down to Black Friday Deals Week. The new Pre-Black Friday store offers two deals of the day every day, now through Dec. 22.
Early this morning, Walmart announced an early Cyber event to help customers get ahead of their holiday shopping. According to their site, Walmart.com customers can "can access rollbacks ... on brand-name electronics and home goods while quantities last. In addition, more than 300 early-bird specials will be available at exclusive prices on Walmart.com."
We just posted the 44 page Macy's Thanksgiving Day Ad. As you may remember we recently posted the Macy's Black Friday ad which starts Thanksgiving night. Macy's decided 1 ad just wasn't enough and created their Macy's Thanksgiving Day ad. This ad will begin Thanksgiving Day through Saturday.
Add Office Max to the list of stores now opening Thanksgiving Night at 8pm. According to their press release today, Office Max will be "opening its doors at 8:00 p.m. local time Thanksgiving night with hot doorbuster deals, and offering significant Black Friday savings at OfficeMax.com starting at 12:01 a.m. EST Thanksgiving morning to deliver holiday savings to customers earlier than ever."
Office Max appears to be taking a page from Walmart's playbook by also announcing 3 different sales this year: 1 starting at 9pm EST online Wednesday 11/27, their black friday sale with doorbusters beginning at 8pm Thanksgiving night and then additional doorbusters 5 a.m. Friday morning.

We just posted the 3 item Half Price Books Black Friday Ad. As with years past, the Half Price Books will open their doors at 7am and offer a free tote bag which includes a $5 gift card for the first 100 customers. 1 lucky customer will receive a $100 gift card in their tote instead of the $5 gift card.
Lowe's just updated their 2013 Black Friday page with a countdown clock. According to their online clock, Black Friday deals will begin Thanksgiving morning 11/28 at either 12am or 1am depending on whether or not they are taking Daylight Savings int account. The page also links to a Pinterest board with a Lowe's Black Friday Sneak Peek.

Best Buy just released their ad for the online Holiday Kickoff Event which starts today and goes until 10/26. The sale features laptops, iPods, video games, Best Buy Exclusives and more. Most items have free shipping.

Target announced some of their key Holiday 2013 Initiatives via this Target press release this morning. According to their press release " Target will make it easy for guests to check off their holiday list and bring their unique holiday moments to life, no matter how, where or when they want to shop." Two initiatives in the press release worth pointing out are:
Macy's just released their sales ad for this weekend's Macy's One Day Sale which is valid for Friday 10/25 through Saturday 10/26. Their ad says this sale is too big for 1 day which is why it will last for 2 days. Doorbusters will be valid from 9am-1pm on Friday and again on Saturday but there is no guarantee of quantities so you might want to go Friday if you see something you really like. There are a few items in this sale that are also in the Macy's Black Friday Ad including 40% Off All Blenders, Juicers & Food Processors and 40% off Men's Alfani Assorted Dress Shirts & Ties.
Target updated their Black Friday page on their website with the dates for their annual Black Friday sale. Last year Target opened their stores Thanksgiving night at 9pm. Our best guess is that they will move up the start time by an hour this year to 8pm to stay in line with all the other major stores that have announced an 8pm start time.
We expect to have the Target Black Friday 2013 Ad posted in the next week or two but in the meantime you can look through the Target Toy Catalog which starts 10/30 and lasts through 10/27. In it you can find over $100 in Target toy coupons and more than 400 Target toy deals.
We just posted the 7 page Ace Hardware Black Friday 2013 Ad along with 86 Ace Hardware Black Friday Deals. Ace Hardware's Black Friday ad has remained strikingly similar over the past few years with many of the same items showing up year after year. Ace Hardware has also not posted on their ad however if they follow previous years they will open at 7am on Friday morning.
